Railway Recruitment 2018 Admit card(ALP & Technicians)

Railway Recruitment 2018 will be held to recruit candidates to the post of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. Railway Recruitment Board conducts this examination every year giving candidates a golden opportunity to fulfill their dreams of joining the prestigious Government Sector. According to Railway Recruitment Notification 2018, a single application is to be submitted (common to all posts - ALP & Technicians) by all candidates who wish to apply for the mentioned posts.


Railway Recruitment Notification 2018 (ALP)

Railway Recruitment Notification 2018 was released on 3rd February 2018. According to the Notification released, a total of 26,502 vacancies was declared. Railway ALP 2018 Application Fee

The Online Application for Railway Recruitment starts from 3rd February 2018 and will end on 31st March 2018. Candidates must pay Rs. 500/- as application fee (UR & OBC) for Railway Recruitment 2018. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class are required to pay Rs. 250/- as application fee.

As per the notification released by Railway Recruitment Board recently, a total of Rs. 400/- will be refunded to candidates belonging to unreserved category who appear in the exam. rs. 250/- will be refunded to candidates belonging to reserved categories if they appear in the exam. The initiative is taken by the Railway Recruitment Board to ensure maximum participation of candidates.

Railway Recruitment Board recently released official notification for Railway Group D Recruitment Exam 2018. Around 62,907 vacancies are declared to filled through this exam. Railway Recruitment 2018 Selection Procedure

The Exam Pattern for Railway Recruitment 2018 constitutes of two stages of CBT or Computer Based Test. Let's have a look at both these stages of CBT in detail.

1. First stage of CBT

2. Second Stage of CBT

  • PART-A
  • PART-B

Qualifying Mark PART - B: 35 % (This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible)

3.Computer Based Aptitiude Test (for Candidates who have opted for ALP)

  • The candidate needs to secure a minimum score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible.
  • There shall be no negative marking in Computer Based AT.
  • The ALP merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in the Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer Based AT

4. Document Verification

TECHNICIAN POST:

Based on the performance of candidates in Part Aof the Second Stage CBT subject to their qualifying the Part B of Second Stage CBT

ALP POST:

Based on the performance of candidates in both Part - A of the Second Stage CBT and Computer Based and subject to their qualifying the Part B of Second Stage CBT.

Note: Candidates attempting to submit application more than once will be disqualified or debarred from the examination.

Railway Recruitment 2018 Admit Card:

Candidates who have successfully applied for Railway Recruitment 2018 Exam will be issued Admit Card for first stage of CBT. Admit Card will be issued separately for Stage 1 CBT and Stage 2 CBT. Admit Card for Stage 2 CBT will be issued to candidates who have successfully cleared Stage 1 CBT of Railway Recruitment 2018.

All candidates must go through the guidelines provided on the official website of Railway before downloading his/her admit card.

Railway Recruitment 2018 Result:

Railway Recruitment Board will be announcing the result for Stage 1 and Stage 2 CBT after the examination for the same has been conducted. Result will be announced for Stage 1 CBT first. Candidates who clear Stage 1 CBT will be allowed to give Stage 2 of Railway Recruitment 2018 Exam. Result for Stage 2 CBT will will be released after the examination for the same has been conducted.
